We are a nationwide credit management company with over 150 specialists in Woerden and Eindhoven. Our company grew out of more than 100 years of Dutch debt collection tradition. Every day, we help thousands of clients collect their outstanding claims.
In a way that works for their cash flow and keeps respect for their customers.

A country free from problem debt
We believe in a society without problem debt and bankruptcies. That is why we work every day to collect debts in a socially responsible way. That commitment is one of the reasons we were closely involved in the drafting of the Wet kwaliteit incassodienstverlening (Wki), the Dutch Debt Collection Services (Quality) Act.
Socially responsible collection comes from finding the perfect balance between smart, data-driven technology and the irreplaceable value of personal contact. Because every debtor has their own story. Franc Weerwind, then Minister for Legal Protection, saw this for himself during a visit to our office.

Registrations, quality marks and supervision
Ultimoo operates under a broad set of statutory and industry requirements. Being transparent about our registrations helps build the trust that clients and debtors place in us.
- NVI Incassokeurmerk: Ultimoo has been a member of the Nederlandse Vereniging van gecertificeerde Incasso-ondernemingen, the Dutch association of certified debt collection companies, since 2006.
- Wki authorisation: Statutory authorisation under the Wet kwaliteit incassodienstverlening, the Dutch Debt Collection Services (Quality) Act (2024).
- Justis Debt Collection Register: Ultimoo is listed in the Dutch Debt Collection Register maintained by Justis, the screening authority of the Ministry of Justice and Security (registration reference 0033).
- AFM licence: Ultimoo holds a licence from the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets) for handling specific types of monetary claims.
- Client account foundation: All payments from debtors are received into a separate client account foundation (stichting derdengelden), kept apart from our own business operations.
- ISO 9001 and ISO 27001: Ultimoo is ISO-certified for professional business operations and data security.

What does Ultimoo do?
Ultimoo is a nationwide credit management company supporting the entire order-to-cash process: from credit information and prevention to amicable and judicial collection, accounts receivable management and international claims.
Where is Ultimoo based?
Following the merger of 1 July 2026, Ultimoo has two offices: its head office in Woerden and a second office in Eindhoven, which came out of the integration of CBMK.
Is Ultimoo a reliable debt collection agency?
Ultimoo holds the NVI Incassokeurmerk, is listed in the Justis Debt Collection Register and holds the statutory authorisation for debt collection services under the Wet kwaliteit incassodienstverlening (Wki, 2024), the Dutch Debt Collection Services (Quality) Act. All third-party funds are managed through a separate client account foundation (stichting derdengelden).
What is the difference between Ultimoo and incasso.nl?
Incasso.nl is an online service from Ultimoo, aimed specifically at SME entrepreneurs who want to submit a claim quickly and without any fuss. Ultimoo is the parent organisation, which also serves larger organisations, housing associations, healthcare institutions and international clients.
Does Ultimoo comply with the Dutch Debt Collection Services (Quality) Act?
Yes. Ultimoo operates fully in line with the Wki. Ultimoo was closely involved in the drafting of this legislation and holds the required authorisation (registration reference 0033).
