Striving for continuous improvement
At Ultimoo, quality is more than just a regulatory framework for a certificate or seal of approval.
It is the core standard of our service and is constantly evolving.
Internal Development Program
Our quality assurance is anchored in a proactive culture of continuous improvement. To support this, we launched our internal quality program, Aim for the Moon, in 2020.
This program drives us to constantly innovate across various key areas:
- People → Our driven employees are the key to our success. Through internal and external knowledge sessions and training programs, they stay up-to-date with the latest laws and industry trends.
- Resources → The use of advanced technologies such as AI and data analysis enables us to deliver highly efficient collection processes. This allows our team to dedicate more time to meaningful, personal conversations with customers.
- Clients → Ultimoo is more than just a debt collection agency. We are a strategic partner in credit management and cash flow. We consistently invest in proactive collaborations based on relevant statistics and KPIs.
A focus on society
Our active involvement with the NVI (Dutch Association of Certified Debt Collection Agencies), our intensive collaboration with Purpose, and our ongoing dialogues with government ministries demonstrate that we don’t just react to social changes—we play a pioneering role in shaping them.
The involvement of our management in the realization of the Wki (Debt Collection Quality Act) and other regulations provides businesses with the certainty of a partner who is always ahead of the curve in terms of compliance and social responsibility.
Proven Quality with the NVI Collection Quality Mark
The Collection Quality Mark (Incassokeurmerk) is issued by the Dutch Association of Certified Debt Collection Agencies (NVI). Only agencies that meet the rigorous requirements of the regulatory framework are eligible for this certification.
The framework sets strict standards in the areas of:
- Organizational structure and infrastructure
- Financial health of the company
- Design of debt collection procedures
- Communication methods and content
- Internal operating procedures
- Handling of disputes and complaints
To maintain the certification, a comprehensive audit is conducted every two years by an independent third party.
Latest certification issued: Zoetermeer, July 11, 2024.
AFM License for specific financial claims
To handle claims subject to the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wft), holding an AFM license is mandatory. In 2015, Unisolve B.V. (at that time an operating company of Ultimoo) obtained a mediation license under number 12043340. Under this license, Ultimoo Incasso B.V. (which as of September 25, 2024, also includes the trade names Ultimoo Field Collections and Unisolve) has been authorized since 2017 to handle claims that fall under the scope of the Wft.
ISO standards as our foundation
As a debt collection agency, we understand that the quality of our services directly impacts the success of our clients. That is why we take great pride in our ISO certifications. These international standards, such as ISO 9001, are more than just a badge of honor; they form the very foundation of our operations.
They guarantee that we operate according to standardized, efficient, and transparent processes. Furthermore, these standards place a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
