1 2 Collect: A project with impact
Through 1 2 Collect, we provide unemployed individuals with a stable and sustainable (financial) future.
Collaboration with the UWV
With 1 2 Collect ('I want to collect'), Ultimoo provides unemployed individuals with a secure (financial) future. In collaboration with the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht, Ultimoo launched this social project in 2011. Since then, more than 350 previously unemployed individuals have been trained by Ultimoo and successfully prepared for the labor market.
How 1 2 Collect works
The goal of 1 2 Collect is to guide unemployed individuals toward a new career. By doing so, they can improve their financial situation and significantly reduce the risk of facing payment arrears or problematic debt. They are empowered to build their own stable and secure future.
UWV Registration
The UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) refers unemployed individuals for participation in the project. Through a series of speed-dating sessions, the most suitable candidates are ultimately selected.
Ultimoo Training Program
The selected candidates are trained by Ultimoo to become professional Collectors. Upon successful completion of the training, they receive an official diploma to certify their expertise.
Career Placement
Upon completion of the training, Ultimoo actively assists graduates in finding a position within the industry. We remain in close contact to monitor their progress and offer ongoing support as they build their new careers.

Jeroen was 23, living in Amsterdam, without a steady job and struggling to make ends meet. "Every month was a challenge to get by." In 2012, Jeroen was selected by the UWV for the 1 2 Collect program. "I was quite apprehensive at first, but after a positive conversation in Woerden, I decided to go for it. The training was engaging, though it definitely required perseverance at times."
Ultimately, Jeroen graduated and found a new job within a month. "I was so happy when I got hired. I was finally earning my own income again. More importantly, I felt like I could truly help people."
Jeroen is deeply grateful to the UWV and Ultimoo. "Of course, you never know how my life would have turned out otherwise. But thanks to Ultimoo’s project, I got my life back on track. We are now more than 10 years down the road, and I couldn't be happier!"
