Ultimoo acquires Belgian debt collection agency TCM Belgium

Ultimoo B.V. is acquiring the Belgian debt collection agency TCM Belgium. The acquisition marks the company's first step across the Dutch border, following a period of growth in which all previously acquired companies were brought together under the Ultimoo name. With this move, Ultimoo extends its order-to-cash services to Belgium and beyond.

Founded in 1993, TCM Belgium serves more than 2,000 clients, ranging from SMEs to listed companies and professional federations. The company is part of TCM Group, an international network of debt collection agencies in more than 150 countries, and is a member of the industry associations ABR-BVI, FENCA and ACA. Unlike the brands Ultimoo acquired previously, TCM Belgium will continue to operate under its own name.

The acquisition creates an organisation that can serve clients on both sides of the border. Dutch clients with customers in Belgium can now rely on a local team with in-depth knowledge of Belgian laws and regulations. TCM Belgium's clients will keep their familiar points of contact and will also gain access to Ultimoo's full range of services.

Shared core values

CEO Arjan Stigter sees the acquisition as a logical next step in the company's growth strategy: "Businesses are becoming increasingly international, and unpaid invoices don't stop at the border. International network

Through the acquisition, Ultimoo gains access to TCM Group's international network. Together with Ultimoo's Cross Border Centre, this gives the organisation a debt collection solution with worldwide coverage. The two organisations are also closely aligned in how they work. Both Ultimoo and TCM Belgium focus on the amicable collection stage, in which the vast majority of cases are resolved without court proceedings.

Growth beyond the border

With the acquisition of TCM Belgium, Ultimoo continues the growth strategy of recent years, now on an international scale. It marks a new chapter in which the organisation strengthens its position outside the Netherlands. By combining local expertise in Belgium with the scale of a larger organisation and a global network, Ultimoo can continue to help businesses keep their finances healthy, wherever their customers are based.
